Scheduling Your Visits
A pet-sitting visit will be scheduled only after a face-to-face meeting. During this meeting we will provide our licenses, proof of insurance, and bond for your examination and will also meet you and your pet(s). We always schedule our visits on a first-come, first-served basis, so we suggest scheduling an appointment at your earliest convenience.
We Require keys To Your Home

Two keys are required for our use. We keep one in a safe at our office for emergencies, or in case the sitter with the first key is detained by car trouble or some other unforeseen problem. You may wish us to hold these keys for the next time our services are required, but if you want them returned after each use, there is a $10.00 trip charge.

About Medication Administration

We are happy to administer medications to your pet(s) per your directions. However, we will not be held responsible for any illness or complications that arise from doing so. We DO NOT give injections.

What We Do In An Emergency

We require the name and number of a trusted friend, family member, or company who can be contacted in case of a household emergency, such as a malfunctioning appliances or leaking pipes. If anyone other than our service has access to your home while you are away, we need to know about it. This includes friends, neighbors, family, and service personnel. If we come to your home and there is someone in or around your home, we will immediately notify the authorities. We will not enter your home if anyone we do not know about is on the premises.

All Pet Being Walked Outside Require A Leash

All pets being walked outside require a leash. If you wish us to allow your pet be given free range in a fenced-in area, we will accommodate that request, but cannot be held liable if your pet escapes is injured or will not return when called.

Policy Regarding Bad Behavior

We love your pet(s)!. But proper care is a partnership between us and them. We cannot be held liable for their bad behavior which results in injury or escape.

Courtesy Calls Process

  1. DEPARTURE CALL: The Pet Spoiler requires a call from you, the client within twenty four (24) hours before departure for your trip. This assures that last minute changes made in your schedule, does not adversely affect the care of you pet.
  2. RETURN CALL: Upon returning you, the client must contact The Pet Spoiler within a reasonable amount of time to let us know you have arrived. If we make a visit to your home because we have not been notified of your return, standard visitation charges will apply.
  3. CANCELLATION CALL: The Pet Spoiler requires twenty four (24) hour notification if you, the client must cancel a scheduled visit. This allows us to put another client into your slot. If you fail to notify us of a cancellation within the twenty four hour period, standard visitation charges will apply.
If We Have To Buy Supplies

In the event that The Pet Spoiler must make an unscheduled trip to the pet, grocery or any other store to purchase food, snacks, litter or any other item pertaining to the care and well being of the clients pet, a $10 trip charge in addition to the cost of the supplies will be billed to the client, due within 10 days of end of service.
